Take a look at this absolutely phenomenal pizza from The Iron Kettle, one more of the wonderful items being offered at the Morel Mushroom Festival Tasting. Hand Painted Children's Clothing
The Annual Craft Show on May 11th at the Lewiston Elementary School from 9:00am-4:00pm has some great artisans again this year. Sharyl Witt will be displaying her hand painted children's clothing. She even does custom personalization of her work at the show.
Poetry Contest for elementary students of Lewiston-Johannesburg Elementary Schools

Johannesburg Schools are invited to write a poem again this year as part
of our Mother's Day celebration. Information will be in the Friday
folders and winners will be announced at the Mushroom Festival.

Thanks to all of you who have responded to the posting yesterday we already have had 6 reservations for the hunts.
Did I mention the craft show - we have "antler lady" returning this year. She makes the most amazing items for the home from candlestick holders, mirrors to tables. For only $1.00 you can check out all of the great items that will be available. I will be highlighting more individuals from the craft show.
Mushroom hunt update - when you sign up for a hunt not only do you get guided on the hunt (we are the only festival in Michigan that offers a guide) you will also get maps, mushroom information, mushroom novelty license, bags to store the mushrooms in that you find and if you are among the first 100 an entry into the mushroom tasting. The Guided hunts are $15.00 and Pro hunts are $30.00 and leave at 8:00am and 11:00am on Saturday May 11th from the Lewiston Elementary School located on Montmorency Street in Lewiston.

2013 Lewiston Morel Mushroom Festival will be MAY 11th.
The annual Craft Show is at the Lewiston Elementary School. Entrance Fee is $1.00. If you would like to participate as a vendor please download the Craft Show Vendor Form. As usual, the spaces are filling fast and are limited.
Mushroom Tasting is presented by local restaurants. The tasting is only $7.00, if you do not want to hunt, otherwise it is included in the hunt price. Will be updating you on the restaurants participating and the fare they will be presenting. Understand that Lewiston Hotel will be creating their outstanding Mushroom soup again this year.
Guided Mushroom Hunt $15.00 and Pro Hunts $30.00, this includes that tasting. Each Mushroom Hunt begins at the Lewiston Elementary School at 8:00am or 11:00am. The guides go with the hunts, which are limited to 25 individuals, and assist in finding the morel mushrooms. Pro hunters can check out the various categories and prize monies the day of the hunt.
